Saturday's Opponents: Eccleshall

Moving swiftly on, it's a trip down the M6 to the picturesque village of Eccleshall this Saturday. Despite our recent ropey record there it's an away-day I always look forward to; as long as I remember to take an umbrella as the weather has always been nothing short of rotten each time!

Both teams head into this match with a woeful run of league form: one draw and one win in the last six matches with Eccleshall being on the back of two straight defeats and owning the least number of clean sheets in the league this season.

Another similarity to us is that they are finding wins at home hard to come by: just the two all season at Pershall Park.

If the re-instatement of the three points is going to mean anything, we need a win. That would put us on 24 points and right back-in-business for a top ten finish.
