Results Round-Up: Saturday 30th January 2010

Only three matches ended up surviving the overnight frost this weekend.

In the pick of the fixtures, AFC Liverpool must feel as though they have kept their promotion hopes well and truly alive after an impressive 1-0 away win at table-toppers Stone Dominoes. The Staffordshire side are still 6 points clear at the top but the Merseysiders have now shifted up to 5th spot with plenty of games-in-hand with which to make an impact.

Just ahead of them in 4th spot are Irlam. They prevented Wigan Robin Park making up any ground on them by defeating them 2-0. In the other remaining match, AFC Blackpool's good league run continued - and Ashton Town's was halted - by a 2-0 win. The seasiders are now in 8th spot but have played more matches than anybody else. Mind you, they do say it's good to have the points in the bag.

Our very own Cheadle Town haven't been affected by today's matches and are still in 11th spot with those 17 points from 14 matches.
