Results Round-Up: Saturday 28th November 2009

You know when you have one of those preminitions that you should have put your mortgage on happening? With us 3-1 up at Oldham Borough on Saturday I turned to my touchline companion Stuart Crawford and said: "you know who we're gonna draw in the next round, don't you??"
Okay, there's still a lot of ifs-and-buts to sort out but here is the draw for the quarter-finals of the First Division Trophy in all of its gruesome glory:
- Irlam or a Staffordshire-based team v CHEADLE TOWN
- Daisy Hill or AFC Blackpool v Rochdale Town or Chadderton
- Leek CSOB or Wigan Robin Park v AFC Liverpool
- Stone Dominoes v Barnoldswick Town
The only other two definites - Stone and Barnoldswick Town - secured their places with a 3-1 home win over Ashton Town and a 2-1 away win at Eccleshall respectively.

Good luck against Irlam in the next round. Be boss if it was a Cheadle versus AFC Liverpool final.

A long way to go yet. Got to get past Irlam (we hope) first......
