The following bus services stop at the top-end of Park Road:

11: Stockport Bus Station - Edgeley - Cheadle Heath - CHEADLE - Gatley - Benchill - Wythenshawe Bus Station - Woodhouse Park - Newall Green - Wythenshawe Hospital - Altrincham Interchange

309/310: Stockport Bus Station - Edgeley - Cheadle Heath - CHEADLE - Bruntwood Park - Adswood - Davenport - Stockport Bus Station circular route (if you're coming from Stockport Bus Station then get the 310 as this does the route counter-clockwise and thus will get you to the ground quicker!)

Trains
The nearest station is Gatley but, to be absolutely honest, it's a fair ol' yomp from there: you're talking a good 25 minutes. If that seems like a bit too much on the legs then you could always get the 11 or 371 bus that passes right by the station. 

Trains leave Manchester Piccadilly at regular intervals. Look for a train that's going to Manchester Airport but please make sure that it stops at Gatley as not all airport-bound trains do.

Alternatively if your train is stopping at Stockport you could get off there and get one of the buses listed above from the bus station.
