During an away match at Blackpool Mechanics towards the end of the 2006-2007 season the team manager Trevor Howard (who has now left us), obviously irked by our players' constant heckling of the referee - turned around to us and said: "you know what, we're f**king born to moan at this club".

At the time Polardin and I were looking for a slogan for our new flag. The rest is history.
