Serving Suggestions

Always a favourite with me is the "serving suggestion" idea on food packaging. The one that beats them all is the mug of soup with the suggestion to serve it in a mug! Classic.

Mind you, considering what happened to a woman from Australia this week who swallowed a spoon whilst eating spaghetti, maybe they're not such a bad idea after all:

"Doctors at Canterbury Hospital in Sydney were stunned to see the nearly six-inch-long utensil stuck in the esophagus of the woman, whose name was not released due to confidentiality.The 26-year-old woman was reportedly eating spaghetti when she began laughing. When she swallowed the teaspoon, she began to gag reflexively."
